Our nature - the most important resource

Our companies process only the best natural materials. We are living off and in keeping with nature, acknowledging our great responsibility to be environmentally sensitive in our agricultural activities. With this in mind, we are working with our milk suppliers to realize a consistently sustainable resource management.

Our milk suppliers

We get our milk, our most important raw material, from suppliers in the immediate vicinity of our plant, within a radius of about 100 km. The fresh milk is collected from the dairy farmers at least every other day.  We buy our milk exclusively from dairy farmers who are subject to intensive quality checks and regular audits. In addition, the dairy farmers are trained by supplier consultants, which ensure a consistently high level of quality.

Our district

We are located in an area with very favourable regional soil properties, which ensures a positive development of future supply quantities. The North German Plain is one of the few regions that will see a positive development of milk production in the coming years and decades. Considering the agricultural conditions, the raw material basis for our companies will be secure in the future.
